One response to anti-Semitism is to downplay one’s Jewishness …. The survey asked respondents in what situations, if any, they consciously downplayed their Jewishness or being a Jew (asked unprompted, without offering response options). … 37% of Canadian Jews identified one or more situations in which they have downplayed their Jewishness.
