The three antisemitic propositions we have explored:
 

• Stereotype #9: “People hate Jews because of the way Jews behave“ This particular antisemitic attitude essentially blames Jews for the antisemitism of antisemites by positing that malign Jewish behaviours “cause” the phenomenon of Jew-hatred. 

• Stereotype #6: “Jews are responsible for most of the world’s wars”

A particularly conspiratorial accusation that Jews collectively and individually deliberately generate the death, destruction and chaos of wars across the globe as a function of their malevolent nature and malign self interest 

• Stereotype #3: “Jews have too much control over global affairs”

One of the most widespread of antisemitic tropes postulates that Jews manipulate global affairs or international markets and other instruments of global power for malign purposes and in doing so represent a threat to the broader non-Jewish public. The ADL survey polled various formulations of this antisemitic stereotype. We have provided the findings only on the more generic “global affairs” category, because it is more broadly encompassing of the multiple dimensions of this malign organized putative behaviour by Jews  existing as a reality solely in the antisemitic mind.
